I applied online. I interviewed at Power Integrations in May 2026
Interview
Received a phone call instead of an email letting me know they like to interview. Phone screening was typical, however they wanted to do a technical interview on the same day. Was very, very short-notice and only had 30 minutes to prepare in between. Technical questions were mainly conceptual. The most aggravating part of the interview was how they were constantly suspicious of me using a second device due to "shifting eyes", often interjecting and asking for a photo of my desk. Very unprofessional. I have dignity.

Question 1
What would happen if you were to switch PMOS and NMOS in a CMOS inverter?
Horrible process, several promises that didn't hold and really affected my life, three stage process took 3 months to end. between 1-2 months just so they could tell me if I'm accepted or rejected or not, I got ghosted by everyone in the process at least 2 times, HR kept apologizing but in action they kept repeating the same mistreatment they apologized for.

Question 1
standard cell libraries and how they get used by synthesis tools
One HR interview, two technical interviews.
The first technical interview is usually with your team. Should you pass, your second technical interview is with the higher management of your team--they are still very technical.
