Interview Experience:
I interviewed for the Senior Software Engineer role and the interview process consisted of 4 rounds.
Round 1: Low-Level Design and DSA questions focused on recursion and stack.
Round 2: High-Level Design round with detailed discussion on solving real-world problems. This round was quite good and interactive.
Round 3: Managerial round where I was asked about my motivation to join the company, followed by a mathematical problem to understand my problem-solving approach.
Round 4: HR round, mainly focused on explaining what the company does and a few behavioral questions.
Overall, the technical and managerial rounds were well-structured and positive, and I genuinely enjoyed the discussions. I was informed in early December 2025 that I had cleared all interview rounds and that HR approval was pending for my expected CTC.
Initially, my expected CTC was agreed upon, but after a few days HR came back saying they could not match it and offered a lower package. I communicated my minimum acceptable CTC, which HR verbally agreed to and mentioned they would seek approval.
Unfortunately, after that, communication became very inconsistent. Weeks passed without any update. After nearly a month, HR stopped responding to calls. I had to follow up via email, to which I was told they needed a few more days. Since then, there has been no further update, and calls remain unanswered.
This was disappointing, especially after being informed that I had cleared all rounds. I was genuinely interested in the role and had paused my job search based on the initial confirmation.
Suggestion:
The interview process itself is good, but the post-interview communication and closure need significant improvement. Clear and timely updates would greatly enhance the candidate experience.
Outcome: No offer (pending / no response)
