I had 3 interviews one with the Shipping Manager which went really well. After that interview I felt like I had a great shot at the position. About a week later I get a call to meet with the HR and Plant Managers for a second interview. Went in and only interviewed with HR manager everything seemed to go really good. Apparently the Plant Manager was out of town. I was called again to meet with the Plant Manager finally. I end being interviewed by the Safety Manager and another manager. The safety was really nice real professional. The other manager though was very rude. He sat across the table with his arms crossed 75% of the time. Tried to belittle me about leaving my current job and, saying I hadn't learned enough to be able to just leave and apply for another job. I had over 12 years at that job starting as a material handler and becoming the Receiving Supervisor with other promotions in between. At the end of the interview I ask why did you guys call me in for a interview. And the rude manager said your experience and tenure is what drew us to your application. I thought to myself exactly. Why was he questioning my experience. If that was one of the strongest points of my application. I don't know if he interviews regularly, but he shouldn't be he is extremely rude and very judgemental not professional at all. I finally got an email about a month later stating I didn't get the job. Which was fine since I had already excepted a different job. All in all watch how does the interviewing it can cost you a very good work. The process is also way too long.
