It was a good hiring experience. I had a chance to meet colleagues, and test my capabilities during the interview day.
HR was supportive. The timing is reasonable. It took only a few days to know the interview result which was good for me.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Preformed Line Products (Albemarle, NC)
Interview
Interview process wasn't bad and everyone I meet was cordial. I did an initial interview with HR then a 2nd round video call with the hiring manager and his boss. After there were 2 more rounds, video call with HR manager at their HQ and finally an in-person interview with the hiring manager. Everyone seemed nice and some of the benefits were good, but they only offered me salary at the bottom of their range even after hiring manager said I should ask for more. I ultimately declined the offer because they refused to negotiate on salary.
