The interview process was fairly organized and structured, with clear steps throughout. Communication around scheduling was smooth.
However, some of the conversations felt a bit impersonal and more transactional than expected.
Five rounds which include 1) screener, 2-4) technical assessments, 5) culture panel. Technicals included 1) Redesign challenge, 2) Portfolio Presentation, 3) Whiteboard. Kind of surprised how many technical interviews there are, given that it's a startup and not sure why so many are required to assess a product designer. VERY unconventional interview processes, too extensive, and technical assessment was really odd. Got negative impression.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prelim in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process felt unstructured and no clear communication of the overall timeline and process. Completed a lengthy design test with one week of effort only to be rejected with a generic "Thank you email" with no additional feedback provided. Didn't feel my time and efforts were respected.
