      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      4 Aug 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Premier Rides in July 2018

      Interview

Arrived to meet with interviewer. Manager was kind and quick - had to do an assignment to prove ability to do the job. Interviewer was ready for the meeting and offered instructions to help navigate the city easily. Asked questions regarding past experience. As a recent college grad, was encouraged to indicate that most positions were previous temporary/contract/internship roles. Wanted someone looking for long-term work at the company. Company culture was not feasible with extended hours, low pay, and difficulty in understanding management.

      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      27 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Premier Rides in July 2019

      Interview

I had a phone interview with the office manager, followed by an in-person interview with the director of sales and marketing. The process was generally disrespectful of my time. It would be weeks in between communication from them, then I was expected to jump when they were ready. After my in-person interview, I was asked to complete an assignment "to prove my ability to do the job" despite having sent them my portfolio. I completed the assignment, sent it in, followed up, and was completely ignored. However, upon checking their company social media pages, I saw that my content ideas were in fact being used without compensation or my permission. I wouldn't want to work for a company that treats its candidates this way. I don't imagine it gets better after hiring.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Lot's of weird behavioral questions about how I handle conflict in the office and overwhelming workloads that said a lot about their company culture.
