I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pride Products (NJ) in Jan 2024
Interview
They mentioned right off the bat they were altering the way they interview, which consists of many multiple interviews. They are doing this now because apparently people kept leaving the company. The first two interviews went smooth, conversation flowed and it wasn't awkward at all. Andy was great. I felt really good about the position. However, the third interview was kind of awful. Interviewers were short, they were clearly reading questions from their computer screens, they asked the same question over and over just in different fonts. After a while I knew I wouldn't be getting the job. It's hard to answer authentically when you have to come up with 30 different scenarios for the same thing you're asked over and over. You can tell they just weren't really prepared. They also asked continuously why I wanted to leave my company and kept trying to dig deeper which was making me feel uncomfortable, even after I answered the question. After that it was just awkward.
They also mentioned that it's a very small company and really no room or opportunities for growth or advancement. You'd be doing your own work + other employees work. They made it very clear that once you're in a position, you're staying there. Which is fine, but for the pay range they were offering it didn't seem worth it. If you're looking for growth then this isn't the place for you.
I'm not sure how many more interviews the final candidates had, but how many more could you possibly have after you've already interviewed with the CEO and half the team.
I guess my advice to them is if you're going to have 3, 4, 5 interviews, at least be prepared and don't ask the same questions over and over. Know what you're going to ask beforehand so it's not awkward while your candidates are sitting on the other end of a screen waiting for you to say something.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pride Products (NJ) (Springfield, NJ)
Interview
It was given by two current employees and both owners, which was unique. They required a cover letter and ran through some interesting questions/scenarios. We had it in their HQ and the interview was followed by a short quiz...very unique.

Interview
I first submitted my resume and cover letter via e-mail. I was then contacted for a short phone conversation. Then I scheduled and in person interview . The process was rather simple and easy.
