I typically don’t write reviews about interview processes, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Primark Stores.
Over the course of four months, I participated in six interviews for a leadership role. The process was long, drawn out, and at times disorganized. At one point, the company even flew me to another location for an in-person interview. To my surprise, the individual I met with asked me no questions at all — which left me confused about the purpose of that meeting.
Despite investing significant time and energy into the process, I ultimately received a rejection with no feedback. While I understand that not every candidate can be selected, the lack of communication, structure, and respect for my time was disappointing.
Companies often emphasize the importance of candidate experience — I hope Primark reflects on this process and makes improvements, especially for senior-level candidates who are expected to demonstrate professionalism and commitment throughout.
