I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Primo Management Group (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2015
Interview
I applied for a Public Relations Assistant position. I got to the office, and the reception woman was extremely nice, as was the interviewer. The office looked like a fun environment with a pool table, fish tank and Netflix playing on their flat screen. The interview was going great, until my interviewer started to tell me about the job. He was very vague and discussed a lot of sales work. I asked the name of the job title. He said, "Entry level management.... Why? What position did you apply for?"
That was the first red flag...
I said, "I get the vibe that this is a sales position, and I am focusing on a career more in editorial and public relations."
He said, "Well, yea, you know, it's all pretty much the same work."
Annnnnnd I'm out.
Later, I looked online to see all available open positions at Primo Management Group, and it seems they are just putting up fronts like "sports marketing manager" and "assistant copywriter" and even "FULL TIME POSITION OPEN NOW," desperately trying to get people to do door to door sales.
