I went on a tour that was set up by a friend of mine at the company. In the tour I met some members of the mechanical design team, and the head of the mechanical design team interviewed me afterward in his office. He was very friendly and mainly asked me about my background and experience.

Interviewer phone call to discuss tasks and current jobs. Wasn't clear what positions were available at the moment. Talked and negotiated about stipend. There was just a behavorial question, no technical interview for the extern position.
