Company seems to be functioning in a very outdated manner. The way the recruiters/people that work higher up speak about their work seems like they are stuck in a 90s style company culture (flaunt that they are better than Mckinsey, Bain, etc just because theyre smaller). Also they call you randomly and essentially conduct a phone screen that takes 30 minutes (usually companies would schedule a time for this)
Past the first stage interview there are almost 4 other interviews. Also recruiter made fun of my interests when he asked me what my hobbies were and asked why anyone would respect/care about that. Heavy emphasis on your skills (linear algebra, differential equations, coding abilities). Also asked about grades and SAT/ACT scores even though they hire college graduates
