Frustrating and Lengthy Process - Lack of Respect for Candidates
My interview process with Prismm was incredibly long and frustrating, lasting over 2.5 months. There were 7 stages in total, which included an initial HR interview, a whiteboard interview with the design team, a home assignment, a VP Product interview, and reference checks with people who recommended me. The process was lengthy for a company of their scale, and there were two occasions where they canceled interviews.
What was especially disappointing was the lack of communication and professionalism towards the end. After all the time, effort, and money I spent, I received a generic email saying I didn’t get the job. The fact that I was left with a canned, automatic response after all that effort felt incredibly disrespectful.
Considering the time and energy I invested in the process, I expected more from a company like this. If they don’t value their candidates during the hiring process, I can only imagine how they treat their employees. Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone to work there.
