The interview was slow and lacked proactive communication. They need to have a well-organized and respectful hiring process with timely updates on when candidates can expect to hear back. For example, sharing timelines like, “Allow us a week or two so we can reach out,” would be helpful. I think the HR team needs some professional training to work effectively in a fast-paced tech world.

The ProCogia Azure Data Engineer interview has 5 rounds, each 1 hour.
It includes 3 technical rounds with real-world tasks like building pipelines, handling data issues, and writing SQL/Python code.
You’ll also solve design problems using Azure tools like ADF, Databricks, and Data Lake.
The final round is with the hiring manager to check team fit and communication.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me everything related to Azure and Snowflake — how to build and schedule pipelines using Azure Data Factory, optimize notebooks in Databricks, handle schema drift in Data Lake, and manage security and roles in Snowflake.
They also covered real-world scenarios like incremental loads, cost optimization, performance tuning, and data sharing between Azure and Snowflake
