      Account Executive Interview

      27 Apr 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2021

      Interview

I interviewed with Procore in November. The interview with the recruiter went great, they were an awesome individual. The interview with the manager was bizarre. I'd have to say the second worst interview I've done. He asked me when my next interview was and I didn't have one scheduled so I told him so. He asked me again, same response, then asked me a third time, with the same response. He decides to start doing the interview then at the end he asked me again when my next interview was, again I told him this was it. They ended up ghosting me and finally after a few weeks later responded they are no longer considering me as a candidate. Now, here we are in April and recruiter reached out to me again for the same position and I told them what had happened and now the recruiter has ghosted me. I have no idea what's going on at Procore because clearly everyone is not on the same page. If this is how they conduct interviews imagine actually working there. This just shows a huge amount of disorganization and I'm glad I didn't get an offer because what an absolute mess.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The recruiter asked basic sales questions and how you handle cold calling, prospecting, etc and what your quota is. When I interviewed with the manager he seems burned out, overworked, and pretty stressed. He never really asked any questions but just stressed how difficult the job is and if I think I can handle it. I mean it's sales of course it's stressful. Honestly, it was just one of the most bizarre interviews I've ever been in.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies

      Interview

Recruiter reached out. Then next step was speak with another recruiter who still didn’t know much about the actual role. Then spoke to the hiring manager. All 3 interviews were not able to answer questions about OTE performance or even company performance. Huge red flag if they don’t tell you actual percentage of AE’s hitting OTE

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies (Austin, TX) in Jan 2024

      Interview

Had a phone interview today, from a resume I sent them over 3 weeks ago. The interview was going good, until they asked me what kind of formal sales trainiing I'd had. I said I've been a succesful sales person for over 20 years, and had some back at Dell. She mentioned that If I didn't have sales training in 3-4 that she named, it would look bad.
