I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Prodigy Acquisitions (Melville, NY)
Interview
I quickly realized this was an MLM of some sort based on the interview.
First you meet with the CEO and he will tell you about the company and he will talk A LOT about how much money he makes as well as his other employees. I found that unprofessional. (And only to find out that base pay is 15 an hour plus “commission”)
Then he will invite you to a second interview based on your ‘vibe,’ not your skill set. At the second interview they go more into detail about the position, but it’s still extremely vague. It’s so vague that it is really hard to even know what kind of questions to ask when you’re new to the marketing field. That felt purposeful. After research, I realized that your initial role is to sell services while standing in a BJ’s. (It’s a sales role) Please head to their Instagram and see if you can even figure out what/who they are marketing for..
Then you get invited to a third interview, where he basically just gives you another motivational speech.
Overall, I found the experience kind of weird.
I will say, they were extremely friendly
Dear Reviewer,
We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We pride ourselves on our transparency and open door policy so we will definitely look into what caused the confusion here. Admittedly we are confused as to why you immediately jumped to MLM while you're saying there wasn't much information to go off of, but we will clarify that multi-level marketing is a structure in which employees are require to pay for the products that they sell whereas our firm pays their employees to work here. We are not an MLM and we do practice sales and promotions for telecommunications providers. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best of luck on your search.
I applied online. I interviewed at Prodigy Acquisitions in Sept 2021
Interview
The interview process was laid back and the recruiter was straight to the point. I was contacted within a few days of applying and interviewed that week. I had an offer by the end of the week!

Interview
The interview process has been satisfactory. These interviews have felt like genuine conversation and actually very productive as well. I’ve been able to engage but also have questions answered clearly. I really enjoyed speaking with Nick, he seems like a great guy and did a good job explaining things.
