I was contacted first by a recruiter who scheduled a screening with me. After the screening I was told that the hiring manager would call me with more questions. I received an unscheduled phone call from their CPO that lasted over 45 minute to discuss the role and next steps. I was then sent 3 separate personality assessments to test my emotional IQ per the company. They wanted to make sure I was a good fit for the role in that way first. After completing each of those I was then invited to a zoom call with the CEO that lasted approximately 1 hour. I was then invited to an in-person interview with the CEO where I sat in his office, answered more questions and was given a tour of the facility and shown some of the projects they wanted this position to accomplish. After the interview I sent a thank you email and heard absolutely nothing. Approximately 2 weeks after the in-person interview I sent another follow-up email to both the CPO and CEO asking for status, if I was still being considered or if they’ve filled the position. I did receive an email back from the CPO letting me know that they are still conducting interviews and the CEOs travel schedule had been heavy, she told me they would let me know the outcome when they completed the process. I have never heard from them again. They completely ghosted me after I invested several hours in filling out an application, taking phone calls, completing personality assessments, zoom calls and in-person interviews. Not even a “thanks, but no thanks” form letter email. I am not sure where I failed to impress in the process or why a company would make you take so many personality assessments to see what your emotional IQ is and then ghost you completely - pretty hypocritical. The last steps of my interview process were completed in August 2021. It’s now almost May 2022.
