Someone from HR called me to set up the interview, I interviewed in a room with no walls so others in the office could hear our (4 minute long) interview - no privacy. I was hired on the spot within that 4 minute timeframe and was given a piece of paper that stated someone would reach out to me regarding collection of my I-9 information. References were not checked, I was not asked a single question about my bartending skills, and in fact I was told as soon as I sat down "well I knew you would be the perfect fit when I saw your resume." Really....? To be a bartender you need to be skilled not only on the job, but be able to provide exceptional customer service, communicate well, be able to elaborate on team work, etc. The list goes on. How would it be possible for someone to know I was the perfect fit for the job by simply glancing at my resume? It was a complete joke of a process - they will literally hire anyone that has a pulse. Customers at Polar Park know it too, which is probably the worst part.
