I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Progeny (United Kingdom) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process was extensive and multi-staged. It began with an initial call, followed by an online assessment designed to evaluate attention to detail and literacy. After successfully progressing to the main interview—offered as either an in-person or online option—I had to consider the logistical challenge of the 180-mile round trip. I believe my inability to attend in person may have influenced the final decision.
Following the interview, I completed two additional assessments: a Behavioral Assessment and a Cognitive Assessment. Despite investing significant time in calls, interviews, and evaluations, I was ultimately not selected for the position.
I really cannot see how these assess a candidates ability, especially for the role that I applied for.
1. They do not assess for key aspects of People role EG EI, interpersonal skills, Employment law knowledge.
2. There is no statistical evidence that shows success in Pi = success in said role.
3. This role requires situational judgement Pi does not assess that
4. Work sample tests or role-specific assessments would be more predictive of success in said role than a general behavioral assessment.

Interview
The interview process was very rigorous. It involved an initial 25 minute call, followed by 3 separate assessments. These assessments were time constrained which did not give enough time to answer the questions. Questions were also irrelevant to the role. Then, an hour long interview followed by an hour long test. Interview was fine but test was difficult and again, not enough time given for this in my opinion.
