The interview process was average. I met with the President/CEO and the CFO. I followed up by mailing one thank you letter for the interview opportunity. Later, I emailed a second thank you with a simple request for a status update.
I am posting this assessment because I yearn for basic civility. Why is it so difficult for hiring managers and other personnel to simply respond when they are not interested? (Rhetorical) It takes very little ("Thank you for your interest. We have decided to move in a different direction.").
It is disappointing not to be treated with respect. Aside from that complaint, the company seems like a very worthwhile organization.
