Initial interview was with a recruiter, which was pretty chill. Had a 2nd and 3rd interview with other data folk and a manager. Kinda dry but nothing insurmountable. Then they gave a take home project - takes about 4-6hrs to complete. Then I had another project review "interview". After all that, GHOSTED.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Prominence Advisors in Feb 2022
Interview
As the other review states. The interview process is short. They provide 2 tech questions for you to answer and then a 4-6 hour project afterwards. Don't bother asking over $120,000 for this role as they are not competitive. BEWARE: Asking anything above their range will result in you "Not being a good fit for Prominence Advisors" instead of doing any negotiation.

Question 1
Prior to speaking with anyone, you will be requested to answer 2 basic SQL questions. Afterwards if you are extended an interview, you will have to do a 4-6 hour project.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prominence Advisors (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
Robust interview process, but it was clear that Prominence cares about the technical and non-technical skills for a Data Architect role. Comp range for the role is very competitive (I think ranges on Glass Door may be for lower experienced people), role is 100% remote, and culture seems strong.
The interview process consists of three main phases: coding assessment, behavioral interview, & project.
The assessment was not easy, but a good screening on coding + troubleshooting skills. I think it took me about 10 minutes.
The interview process was a mix of technical questions, but I felt like they were evaluating my soft skills as well. Seems like a very team oriented delivery model.
The project was less time consuming than I thought it was going to be when first explained. A couple of hours and then a presentation of my work.
Overall, I think its a thorough process that likely weeds out people that are not a good fit effectively.
