I applied online. I interviewed at Propel Solutions
Interview
Had a phone call, then a week later a 1 on 1 where the interviewer seems disinterested, and I was told I would hear within the same week. I didn't, so upon follow-up & learned it will be pushed until after the company's holiday. After the holiday, I did not hear back for 2 weeks so I had to follow up myself again, and then I got an assignment to do. Felt like I had to remind them time and again that the process was still going on. The assignment was interesting (analysis & ppt), and had to present it to the principal. A few days later spoke to the potential team for culture fit, they were very nice & I got along easily, but there was some self-doubt when they talked about a "positive" culture. A week later got the offer.
Had a call with the founder after that to discuss details, and it was the rudest call I've had in any interview process ever. I was belittled for negotiating in good faith and even threatened that the offer could be rescinded. I ended up declining it after this call after the bitter taste it left. I'm sure all the negative reviews on here are very true.. can only imagine what actually working for them would be like.

Question 1
Past experience- when you created/ improved processes
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. As we discussed, it is unfortunate that we can only hire candidates with legal right to work in Canada at this time. We require all applicants to provide this at time of offer, resulting in the rescinding of the offer. We wish you all the best in your career search!
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Propel Solutions in Oct 2020
Interview
40 minute long phone call, easy and friendly. Was quite excited and was led to believe I would be contacted for a follow up interview shortly. However, they never reached out and have since ignored my emails/LinkedIn Messages. Very unprofessional and shocking that this is the new 'norm' in HR. I am admittedly disappointed and certainly will not be applying to future roles.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Propel Solutions (Vancouver, BC) in Sept 2019
Interview
Phone interview followed by hour long 1 on 1. Phone part was good but the 1 on 1 was not. Woman conducting it seemed detached and uninterested. Didn't do anything to try make it more conversational just went through the usual brand of box ticking interview questions. Office was weirdly empty and quiet and she seemed to feel imposed upon to be giving the interview. Despite that took the full hour. While answering questions she was visibly looking me up and down which wasn't very comfortable. At the end she explained there would be a third round involving a case study. Didn't hear anything from them afterwards. Followed up after a couple of weeks but no response through phone or email. Whole thing felt rude and amateur.
