Started out quite pleasant. Asked me the standard phone screen questions and I described my background. The recruiter gave me an overview of the role and company’s culture. After the interview I decided it wasn’t the right fit, and wrote them to withdraw my candidacy. At this point the recruiter became pretty rude and condescending, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. This seemed at odds with their self described “kind culture”.
