I applied online. I interviewed at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School in June 2020
Interview
This was during the pandemic phase, I applied to the position and heard back quickly within the next 2 days from a coordinator setting up a meeting. I was also asked to send a couple of examples of student work
from previous experiences. Once the interview came it was quite laid back and AUTHENTIC. I was interviewed by the AP and the department coordinator, who were really intrigued by getting to know me as a person, and not just employee which was refreshing. It did not seem like they were just looking to check off standard boxes, but were truly trying to get to know me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I believe one of the questions they asked was how I would handle a student in a specific scenario.

Interview
Met with vice principal and was supposed to teach a demo lesson as well. Demo lesson didn’t happen due to poor communication. Interview itself went well. I got an offer, they checked references and then I never heard from them again. Ever. Job was reposted. I called to ask what was going on and heard from their hr person that she’d call me back when she picked up the phone. She never did. I turned down other interviews when I first got the offer.
