ProteinQure interview questions

Casually met the employer for a short time of 30 mins. Discussed what the company does and what they are looking for. Discussed my background and why I am interested in working with them. Overall, it was not a great experience. He was not that friendly and felt kinda like he was looking down on me.

I will not bother describing the interview process because it turned out to be very similar to another one of the reviews here that was added in 2021 for the software engineer position. The only difference is that this time around they were incredibly disorganized and slow. In between each stage, there would be close to a whole one month response. You don't really need to prepare all that much for the first two stages as they are just mostly chats. The disappointing thing happened in the third stage, which they took over two weeks to give me an update (which they only gave me because I emailed them). What happened was they kept the submission of resume open during the entire two months while I was interviewing for them, so when I asked them for an update, they were still evaluating new applicants! I can only guess why they did this, but the most likely explanation to me is that they didn't feel the initial pool of applicants were good enough, which in itself is not a bad thing. What made this unforgivable is that they wasted over 20 hours of my time that I spent preparing for this job application, and they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me I am unlikely to get the job early during the application. I sent them an email asking for update two weeks ago, and they still haven't responded. This is not how you treat someone who dedicated significant effort in applying for your company.
