First round was with HR, second round was with manager, third round before offer was with HR manager. After the offer there was another impromptu round with another manager which was rather unexpected.
My technical rounds with the prospective managers were fine but this was by far the most bizarre experience with the HR. The HR responsible for my application has been interrupting my responses during the phone rounds, replying very aggressively on email communications. After receiving the offer, I have been asked via an automated email to have another round with another prospective manager, which came across as a surprise - it took three email threads to clarify that it was just a round to get to know each other before making a decision. Furthermore, the HR person has been keep telling me that they wish to move this fast and proceed with the next candidate if I decide to decline - which it is a standard HR procedure to me but I really feel that these kind of details are very unnecessary and unprofessional. As a rule of thumb, I would expect HR's to be very friendly but it felt very uneasy to respond with this particular HR person. Other HR people were friendly and were easy to talk to.
Overall, I am disappointed at the outcome because of my very unique negative experience with this HR person, as it might be misrepresenting the Publicis Groupe Japan's reputation and other colleagues.
