I applied in-person. I interviewed at Publix (Nashville, TN) in June 2016
Interview
I came into the store and was asked to wait until a manager was able to interview me. I was taken to the manager's office and asked various questions, some of which were simply clarifying availability and such. The questions were mostly fairly easy, with some that made me think a little bit.

Question 1
Q: When was a time you experienced premiere customer service?
Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Publix (Rolesville, NC) in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied online and I showed up at the job fair in both March to learn about the company and April to actually do my interview. It was for a new store they are opening in Rolesville.
