Interview
I submitted my resume to the local Publix grocery store and was called back for an interview at another Publix outside of my desired area. Went through 2 phone interviews and 1 in person interview. Didn't get the 4th interview with the GM. Seriously 4 interviews to get a job! Another store farther away called me and setup an in person interview. They interviewed me and said they'd call me later with an answer. 4 hours later I got a call saying they'd like me to come join their team. I'm happy the first interview didn't work out. The in person interviewer was very rude and didn't even call me to say thanks for applying we're going with another candidate. I had the professionalism to mail a thank you card and they were too busy to make a call. I love the Publix that hired me!

Manager wanting to hear about you, your skills and basic knowledge. Showing respect and enthusiasm. Basic, getting to know the company, a friendly environment and the challenges it may come with.
It was a hiring event so about ten people were doing interviews all at once. They had several store managers doing the interviews. I had a district manager interview me.
