Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix (Orlando, FL)
Interview
I was 16 years old and had an interview at a Publix that made close to 1mil on weekends in Orlando, I was told to provide customer service and attempt to make every 'carry out' for every customer that I saw, I had to not ask them if they wanted help out to their car, but I had to be told to walk to the side of the cart and take two steps toward the door, I had to not ask them if they wanted help out to their car, but I had to be told to walk to the side of the cart and take two steps towards the door, at that time I was hired at $6/hr and told I would be making a dollar more per hour every single year which was not the case after 12 years of 'service' and never an evaluation that didn't exceed expectations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Adderall: We are doing a lot of weeding out, so we will be pulling weeds if we have to, meaning if you don't do your job we will be pulling weeds, is that something you will be OK with?
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Publix (Rolesville, NC) in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied online and I showed up at the job fair in both March to learn about the company and April to actually do my interview. It was for a new store they are opening in Rolesville.
