      Executive Assistant Interview

      5 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Pullman Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2026

      Interview

Absolutely atrocious person to deal with. Never in my years have I dealt with such a disrespectful person when THEY are seeking HELP and trying to hire someone. In my humble opinion, this man should get off his "high horse" and learn some management skills, or do all the work himself for the rest of his career if deciding to treat people like they are incompetent. I cut my interview short because of how disrespectful he was to me, with him railroading the conversation abrasively and saying "get it? Probably not". When I asked what the typical day was for the role, he stated "I don't want to answer that" and proceeded to sarcastically go "you click a file, you drag it into a folder. See? Its different every day, I don't want to go through this." ALL of the reviews here seem to be correct, worst experience ever, and not at all worth the mental gymnastics you would have to endure. I've dealt with difficult bosses, including ones that have short fuses, and at first I thought "well maybe the personality fit wasn't right, and maybe he's looking for a certain type of person who is more assertive and self-capable." In a way, that would be correct. NO personality is right for him, he clearly needs to either work solo OR find someone who LOVES to be walked all over, argued and yelled at for his amusement. He seems to get off on disrespecting and belittling people, even those he is vetting for this position. I do NOT recommend. Having an open conversation was not at all an option with this man, and he clearly needs to learn actual leadership and communication skills.

      Interview

Super rude and combative. Went into a whole tirade about my generation expecting the workplace to be fun and not a place of business. When I told him I wanted to withdraw my application, he told me I was a nobody who wasn’t even worth 25 an hour. The guy is toxic

      Executive Assistant Interview

      10 June 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pullman Group (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2022

      Interview

Mr. Pullman contacted me to set up an on-site interview and evaluation. However, something about the tone of his email didn't sit well with me. So, I consulted GlassDoor and upon reviewing the accounts of past employees, I felt it was prudent to withdraw from consideration. That should have been the end of the matter. However, Mr. Pullman did not accept or respect this decision. He insisted I still call him for a pre-interview call and kept harassing me with increasingly nonsensical, bizarre replies. After such an experience, I understandably will not be re-applying or interviewing with the Pullman Group ever again.
