The interview process was 2 stages, the first with HR and the Sales Director, the second with the Sales Director and the Managing Director.
The interview was relaxed, not overly formal or scripted like some interviews I've had. The whole thing seemed like a conversation rather than an interrogation and there was a lot of emphasis on making sure that it was going to be a good fit for both sides. All of the challenges that I was likely to face were discussed, to make sure there would be no nasty surprises when I started. I could tell from meeting the MD how highly he values his team and after my experiences with other businesses this meant a great deal.
From the first time i was contacted to having the offer made was less than two weeks. I was contacted within days of applying, had interview one within a week, called back within a few days, had the second interview the following week and was offered the job the same day. A couple of days later the contract was emailed to me to accept. The whole process was incredibly slick from beginning to end and I was very grateful to not be kept hanging around waiting for a response.
