Had to chase down several people just to get assistance with their glitchy application software, when I finally did they invited me to an initial Zoom call with HR. The interview went okay, lasted longer than scheduled, everything was sounding great in terms of the position. The questions I was asked were pretty basic and I got the impression that the team wasn't aligned on the position or team organization as every question I asked the HR person she didn't seem confident or prepared to answer. Was told I would hear back by the end of the week, didn't hear back for over a week after when they said they would. I feel like its quite easy to send a general update even if things have changed. I noticed that they had posted this job earlier in the summer, then took it down, then reposted it again a month later. It seems like they aren't really aligned internally, but still pushing to hire someone. Overall just got red flags from every step of the process, was disorganized and a tad unprofessional. I suggest that they make sure their teams are aligned internally before you post a job and if the company wants to change perception and stigmas around the Cannabis industry, you should start with their company hiring processes and culture.
