      Mid Market Account Executive Interview

      30 Sept 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pushpay

      Interview

Contacted by recruiter. Initial phone screen followed by a second call with recruiter. Then invited to in person role play with two sales leaders. Next and final step was an interview via google hangout with which was supposed to be with the same to sales leaders but one ended up kissing it due to a prior commitment. Was told that I had more experience than most of their reps and the feedback during the role play was overwhelmingly positive in regard to my sales acumen and ability to handle and overcome objectives. All feedback and indicators were that things went well and that I was a great fit for the role. To my surprise I received a call from the recruiter the next day that they didn't think I was a fit and that I didn't seem to want to be there. They read that one right. I usually take the time to go through multiple phone calls and in person interviews during working hours for roles I am not interested in. They really dodged a bullet on that one. Ultimately unless you are overtly pious don't bother applying. You need to drink a type of Kool-Aid that wouldn't seem to pass the EEOC sniff test to work here.

      Account Executive Mid-Market Interview

      7 June 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Allen, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pushpay (Allen, TX) in May 2025

      Interview

I recently had a phone interview/screening that lasted about 30 minutes. It was a straightforward conversation focused on basic background questions—your experience, role expectations, and interest in the company. One important tip: be ready to discuss your metrics and achievements. I was asked to quantify my past performance (e.g., quotas hit, revenue generated, client accounts managed), so have your numbers prepared in advance. Overall, it was a professional and efficient process.
