QAS Paramedic interview questions

The questions were displayed on a screen, but some were worded a bit differently, so I had to think carefully about what they were asking before responding. One scenario involved a patient who didn’t want to go to hospital. I was asked how I would assess the patient, how I would handle the situation, and what some alternatives to hospital transport might be. Another question focused on community engagement – specifically, how I would demonstrate to the community that QAS cares about them. There was also a question about teamwork and conflict, asking if I had ever had a disagreement with another healthcare professional and how I managed it. Finally, they asked about accountability, specifically a time I made an error and how I handled it. Overall even though they were presented clearly on the screen, the wording wasn’t always straightforward, so I had to interpret what they were really looking for in my responses.
