      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Qbtech (London, England) in Jan 2023

      Interview

This company ghosted me after I took annual leave to attend an in-person interview that lasted almost 2 hours. Stage 1 interview was via Teams and just standard interview questions. For Stage 2 I had to complete a writing task and pull together a 20-minute presentation. Following this, there were several interview questions and they were fairly intensive and lasted around an hour . Obviously no issues with not getting the role, but I think it's appalling to not even bother communicating the outcome to candidates.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Qbtech (Houston, TX) in May 2023

      Interview

Technically it is a five part interview process and it went on for six weeks. The internal recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. I never received a job description at any point. I was told the one I found on their website needed updating. Round 1 was a 30 min recruiter screening. Round 2 was an hour long video call with the hiring manager. After this point I was told I was the top candidate. Round 3 (which was scheduled 24 hours in advance) was a one hour in-person interview. 45 min before the interview, I received a call that I would be giving a presentation. My in-person interview ended up being combined with round 4 which was with HR, so it felt rushed. Next I waited for several weeks. Twice over the next two weeks, the recruiter emailed asking a time to call the next day and both times he never called or replied. After the first time this happened, I asked if I was still being considered for the position and he did not answer. I was positive I was being ghosted at this point. Nearly 3 weeks after my in-person interview he emailed to say that I was not moving forward (round 5 would have been a video interview with the CEO). The recruiter again offered to connect on interview feedback, which again I accepted, but he never followed through on that for the third time.
