Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels interview questions

I had two rounds of phone call interviews with this company. The first one was pretty simple. The person I spoke to asked me some general questions about why I was interested in the job and what my background in marketing looks like. The second interview was tougher. Though I didn't find the questions difficult, the person interviewing me kept putting down my ideas and how I've succeeded in my past roles. They told me for this position I could not come up with any new ideas or projects, I just had to do what was asked of me. I didn't receive an offer, but it was a mutual feeling. I don't believe I would have been able to learn and explore my skills with this company.
