I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Quantapore (South San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2022
Interview
I got a phone screen with the head or VP of research, I went in and they asked me to prepare a presentation of my previous research, I presented it to the team, they interviewed me together, and then I talked to the CEO separately

Interview
Interview was straightforward. There was a screening call then a follow up on site half day of interviews with each scientific lead and management. Questions were role and experience related. Process took 4-5 weeks.
Contacted via email by a company rep, whereupon a time was set up for a phone interview. Then came the phone interview with the CEO that lasted probably less than half an hour. Mostly a conversational style interview that wasn't too technical. At the end, was told that I would hear back in two weeks, but two weeks turned into MANY weeks before a rejection email came. During the phone call, it was clear that I was not at all what he was looking for, so I don't know why it was set up such that we were wasting each other's precious time.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself (i.e., making clear that he didn't read your CV). Conversational style Q&A thereafter that was of a superficial nature. Nothing special.
