They spent weeks interviewing me just to go with an overqualified candidate. I understand the job market is tough but being apart of the problem and then telling the candidate that is disappointing.

3-4 stage interview and I made it to the third stage. First step is talking to the recruiter. Then the hiring manager, plus two other members of the team. I had to present a case study and do a white-boarding challenge. The last step would have been a culture fit interview, but I didn't make it that far.
