A mess. Recruiter would call, schedule an interview, and then at that date and time, no one could call in. It took a few attempts until I spoke with my future boss. I almost didn't take the job, because it made the company seem so disorganized. Then she called out of the blue after one interview and offered me the job. I was nervous but still decided to give it a shot. My boss was a very organized person so it ended up being ok.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at R/GA (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
I got to meet a recruiter at a school career fair and I got a follow up email from the recruiter 2 days later. I wrote her back with my resume and link to my portfolio again then I had an interview within 2 days. The process was very short and the interview was about 30min.

There is just one interview for the junior visual designer position. The director in charge is extremely smart, compassionate, and fair. Yes, you have to have talent to work at R/GA. But he values your character above all. Whether or not you have the potential to grow and whether you are able to work well in a team.
