I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at REAL Software Systems (Woodland Hills, CA) in July 2019
Interview
I was an early applicant that applied at the beginning of 2019. Spoke to an HR representative over the phone and shortly after was given a logic test to complete. Since this was an early application, I was told to expect to be contacted later on towards the middle of the year. Fast forward to May, I had a phone interview with the director of engineering to learn more about the job and company. Then I completed a programming assignment that involved implementing a solution according to the given requirements. I was then invited to interview with five people at the actual company office. After that, I interviewed with the company's CEO. That brings us to the end of the interview process, at least for me; as it has been 4 weeks since then and I have not been given a response.

Interview
First round interview with HR already made me realize that this is not a typical tech company. The interviewer sounds polite and nice. But the questions were very "unusual" and pretty weird for a technical job. All questions are behavioral and completely focused on personal characteristics. It's more like a personality test or thought experiment for fraternity admission. I've never heard of any other interviewer asking those questions for a technical role. I don't think those questions are anywhere relevant to this job.
Although I was given a chance to ask him questions at the end of the interview, it was still a one sided interview overall. The interviewer released minimum information about the company and the job, and escaped my question about the pay. (I was concerned about the pay because I saw too many negative reviews online about this company's unfair pay). At that point I decided to quit
