I appeared for interview in-person. Few dates after the interview I got email asking about my expected CTC. Based on my experience, I replied with some reasonable ctc (after revising once). I was expecting that they will come with some salary amount or range which rnb is paying to it's faculties. I also talked to hr. They are most confusing elements. Hr told that my ctc is at higher end which rnb will not be able to pay. I asked them - I should consider that my selection is cancelled after I am not listening anything from your side? The answer was - You have been shortlisted, that's why you have been asked for salary. But it is on hold. We will let you know. I asked - how long (time) is it expected to take. Answer - We don't know, we will let you know once the interview commeety is giving report. I asked - you can also tell your range of salary which you are paying to faculties having experience of my Level. Answer - We don't know. It will be decided how you have done in interview. Talking to hr@rnb global is completely USELESS, CONCLUSIOLESS & CONFUSING. To me it looks like :- A large fraction of applications received, they are calling for interview. Large propotion of interviewed Candidates/applicants, are also asked for expected CTC. This is how they are playing ctc-ctc game & finally irrespective of anything other than salary, they are calling cheapest applicant to join.
