Interview
It is a long process! It took a little over a month from start to finish, but they are making sure they find the right fit for their company. You interview with an internal recruiter, your direct lead/manager, 1-2 people that would be co-workers, and then several VPs in the company & the CEO. As an entry-level employee it was amazing to be interviewed from the very top of the company.

Question 1
General/standard questions for interviews. Go through your background, especially if you have marketing/website agency background - this isn't a requirement but highly recommended.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ROI DNA
Interview
It was a very thorough interview process over the duration of about 3-4 weeks. I met with upwards of 10 different people over 4-5 rounds, including the CEO and COO. Each interview went well and I got lots of positive feedback, including statements like "you are very impressive" and "I think your experience is a good fit for what we are looking for." One would think that they were extremely interested in me, with the final HR round telling me all about their benefits and next steps for onboarding. Needless to say, I was more than stunned to hear that they decided to not give me an offer because they "weren't sure I was qualified for the role." Hmmm, that's a bit fishy since I spent 6+ hours, over 3-4 weeks interviewing with various folks who all said I was a great fit! What a WASTE of time. Someone on the team even told me that they were "interviewing for a while because they couldn't find a good fit" - go figure! With 12+ years of marketing and advertising experience in the industry, being told that I'm not "qualified for an account manager role" - a basic job in the industry - was not only outrageous but insulting. What a huge loss on your part. Never been treated so disrespectful through interviewing in my entire life.

What are some challenges that marketers face today?
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us as well as for all of your time spent interviewing with our team.
To respond to your comments a bit, we do try to make each candidate feel welcome and comfortable speaking to our team and due to the shelter-in-place mandate, our interview structure is evolving as we find what works for candidates and our company in this all virtual world.
We transparently do have candidates meet with a number of folks on our team. The Account Manager role in particular works in partnership with many SMEs and managers across the company so we want to ensure that both sides are able to ask any questions they have related to their area.
We are also fortunate that we have a lot of highly talented folks that apply and it often comes down to a tough decision between multiple, qualified candidates.
We take all feedback to heart and will share your feedback with the respective teams. Again, we sincerely appreciate all your time spent with our team and wish you all the best.
