      Office Administrator Interview

      26 Mar 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Raleigh, NC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ROI Revolution (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2014

      Interview

Applied online, next day got a phone call. Was told this would be the first of a "rigorous" interview process". Phone call lasted about 15 minutes, asking basic interview questions. If they like what they hear then they invite you to come in for "testing" which lasts about 2 hours. There are 2 personality tests, a grammar test, and an "analytical" test which basically means IQ test. The IQ test is RIDICULOUS. Why anyone needs to do testing to run a receptionist job is beyond me, and I wonder how many perfectly qualified people they've turned down because of the tests. Anyway, they said they would let me know in a couple of days how I did, but the very next day I got an email saying that I would not be offered the job. While I was there waiting to be tested, plenty of people walked by me without offering assistance; seemed stuck-up and snobby to me, I was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in.
