I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RPA in Mar 2024
Interview
I had a negative experience applying at RPA. First and foremost, my recruiter would respond to me after working hours which should have been the first red flag. Additionally, upon giving them my availability, told me I should apply to a different role and received very little communication. They didn’t respond to me for 3 days and then I had to follow-up with them to ask for the calendar invite. I was under the impression I had changed roles I was interviewing for but they had wanted me to interview for both. In conclusion, they said I was a top candidate but me missing one of the interviews “left a lasting impression.” Their lack of communication, low pay, and lack of unprofessionalism made this a company I would never want to work for.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What advertising experience do you have that is relevant to the role?
Thanks for the feedback. Having looked into this a bit, it appears that you were a "no show" for one of your interviews. This unfortunately left a negative impression on the team.
I'm sure this was not on purpose, but remember that you are being evaluated throughout the process and that managers are looking for candidates who are reliable, proactive, and responsive. It is a very competitive process and you want to present yourself in the best light possible.
Pro tip: thank you notes go a LONG way towards smoothing over anything that goes sideways and letting the team know that you are interested in the role.
Wishing you the best in your job search!
