The current management was using the new hires as a means to gain experience on how to be a professional ... (free to the company training).

Interview
Interview process was straight forward and was related to the role the interview was being conducted. good heads up provided about the process as such and feedback was prompt and relevant.
Phone interview followed by in person interviews. Had a full day of interview with managers, department head, and tech lead. Most questions were related to my past experience. There were not many truly technical questions.
