I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at RTX (Boston, MA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Informal one-on-one interview in a small conference room. Met with HR, then the hiring manager, then with one other person on the team. After thinking it went well, it took 3 months to hear from them. HR at Raytheon is among the slowest I've ever seen anywhere, and among the worst. It is as though the HR folks come to work just to take up space.
Reached out to the talent acquisition partner then phone interview with Sr operation manager who asked question about my background. i would give 0 start if i have to about this interview. Wasted my time for no reason
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Winston-Salem, NC)
Interview
Panel interview. Standard questions, they wanted to know a lot about my background- details of my work experience related to this job . 30 mins, no HR, very nice atmosphere. All positive.
Lengthy, generally a series of interviews with both technical/managerial backgrounds within one or multiple teams. Overall they do a good job of pairing skill sets with the needs of the team but I think the process could be expedited
