I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in June 2018
Interview
I applied online and was contacted roughly two months after I had applied. I was invited to a Sunday-Tuesday job interview in Tucson, Arizona. Raytheon put all 200+ applicants in hotel rooms for the three day/ two-night interview process.
Sunday night was a basic orientation where they laid out the flow and expectations of the weekend. We were also briefed on the security clearance we would have to apply for and pass if we would be offered a job. Fingerprinting and photo identification was also apart of this evening.
Monday consisted of a benefits and relocation information session, as well as multiple human resource employees available to answer questions. There was a large breakfast in which Raytheon has multiple heads of various departments talk about why Raytheon is an incredible company to work for. After the lunch, we all got on buses and were taken on a tour by Raytheon.
After the tour, we had a 1.5-hour break until the networking interview event. This event provides applicants the opportunity to meet other departments and potentially win additional interviews. I had one interview already scheduled before the event and set up an additional two for the following morning.
The last day includes a breakfast and then multiple hours of interviews if you have more then one scheduled. Between the three interviews, I was in front of different hiring manages for 3+ hours.
