      Interview

It seems the company is training their HR. Despite your test is good they will send a letter to "decide not to move forward" without any reasons. I add for feedback but never reply. I did the test task successfully all with allowed time.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and putting so much effort into the process. We’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet your expectations. It’s never our intention to cause frustration or come across as dismissive. Hiring at our company is a two-way street— finding the right match for both sides. While we value candidates' efforts, we must stay true to the qualities and skills that align with our team. For more clarity, here are some common challenges we see at the test task stage that might help explain our decision. One frequent issue is with the SQL task, where we assess how candidates approach problem-solving. We look for an iterative approach—starting small, running queries often, and refining as you go. When that isn’t clear, it can raise concerns about authenticity, like relying too heavily on external sources or AI-generated solutions. For Ruby/JS tasks, we often notice: - Using .each with manual array pushing instead of .map. - Missing opportunities to leverage hashes with default values. - Overlooking regular expressions or not using .each_char when appropriate. These details help us gauge experience and solution design, but we understand that candidates don’t always get a chance to explain their reasoning. Yes, our process is challenging. However, that’s how we’ve built the strong team we have today. That said, we’d love to see your application again as you continue to grow. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us improve, and we wish you all the best in your journey ahead! Full Stack Engineer, member of the hiring team

      Interview

Don't waste your time. They don't really have a job for you. Their hiring process is basically non-stop, so they just want to do as many interviews as possible to fulfill their so called "perfect match" database. Had the pair-programming tech interview. I was applying for Ruby position, but the task was in Java. The guy was typing the code (not me like it normally is) and I had to tell him what to type. That felt really backwards, also he was constantly derailing me and forcing into completing the task his way. As a result the 1.5 hour was not enough.
