The interview process was smooth from start to finish. They were clear on the process during the first round. Let me know the estimated start date so I knew when to expect an answer. Very easy to communicate with!
Interviewers are nice and polite and respect the candidate. They are keen to know about my background and the relevant experience to the job. They are appreciative of what I have done in the past.
After applying, I was emailed by the internal recruiter to invite me to the interview process. I promptly responded via email and suggested a time/date yet never heard back. WEEKS later, I followed up and she suggested a date and time. It wasn't until well into our interview that she stopped me, and declared because I didn't have Project Management experience in Tech, I was not at all qualified for the role. At all, even with my pushback and clarification of my background (which I assume she looked at when she invited me for an interview). This was not even a requirement in the job description. She made sure I knew that 800+ people wanted this position; was that to make sure I knew I was not a top candidate? She also looked at her phone a few times while I was speaking. I'm confused at best why I was invited to interview if I was such a lousy candidate. Why waste my time? I felt the whole process was somewhat unprofessional and a little degrading.
