I applied online. I interviewed at Raising Cane's (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2021
Interview
I received an email around 10:30 after a couple of days after applying online. After confirming my interest and interview time availability, I received an email with extremely vague response that hinted at an unprofessional attitude from the manager, or whoever was interviewing me. "I'm here until 5 on tuesday" was their response. Obviously requiring a certain time, I again asked for a specific time frame. Not to my surprise, I didn't receive an email for a day and had to email back the morning of the interview. Luckily, I got a response. The interview, however, was worse than the lackluster communication; she only asked questions that were already on my application, which were my availability, desired pay, high-school extracurriculars, and any references. No questions about my work-ethic or qualities were asked, which was something I expected from a manager who should want to create a functioning working environment. I was told that I would get a response by friday, yet I was sent an email saying that I was not given the job a few days after Friday. On top of the unprofessional communication from the manager, the rejection from Raising Canes on Webb Chapel was very frustrating.
The process was friendlier than I expected while we talked mostly about the skills that I possessed and what would my contribution to the company be. Overall the experience though me a lot about how to present one self in a formal setting.
Very welcoming and got back to me quickly. The managers there are super talkative so don't be worried about anyone being too weird. A lot of them are on the younger side as well, so that's a plus.
It was easy. Managers didn’t ask anything besides availability. Make sure to seem very cheerful and enthusiastic and they’ll hire you on the spot. The interview probably lasted around 15-20 minutes. Cannot stress how easy it was
