I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Raising Cane's
Interview
The process is very straight forward: Apply online, receive an email/text to schedule interview, Interview at location you applied for, interview was held in dining hall in front of everyone (staff and customers).
From my personal experience, I wouldn’t disclose you have a child. As soon as the interviewer questioned my (non-open) availability, I was honest and upfront and said those where the only hours I had guaranteed childcare… after this the interviewer looked disinterested and was quick to thank me for attending. I left with the impression they want to hire young college and high school people with no kids or real adult responsibilities , or adults that will make the crew job their whole personality. This was a good experience for me to learn that this company isn’t one Id want myself or someone I care about to work for.
The process was friendlier than I expected while we talked mostly about the skills that I possessed and what would my contribution to the company be. Overall the experience though me a lot about how to present one self in a formal setting.
Very welcoming and got back to me quickly. The managers there are super talkative so don't be worried about anyone being too weird. A lot of them are on the younger side as well, so that's a plus.
It was easy. Managers didn’t ask anything besides availability. Make sure to seem very cheerful and enthusiastic and they’ll hire you on the spot. The interview probably lasted around 15-20 minutes. Cannot stress how easy it was
